Amy Essington was fantastic! She came recommended by a friend and we are so glad to have worked with her. At the start she had a long meeting with us to understand our needs. She then setup listings that were emailed to us as they came on the market and flagged any that she thought were especially suited to our needs. In this market you have to act fast, and Amy was so great at being available to view properties right away. In fact the property we did end up buying came on the market one evening and Amy setup a viewing for the next morning. By that evening we had the place, and at a great price. I firmly believe that had we waited even a day longer we may have lost the unit or paid a higher price. She also managed to negotiate a great price, which is no small feat for a buyer in this market. We couldn't be happier! Her service didn't stop there however. Once our offer was accepted Amy stayed engaged daily as we secured financing and the close. Initially we ran into some issues with financing because of a bank error, but we were so glad to have Amy on our side. She was in constant contact with the mortgage specialist to make sure we met our deadlines for condition removal and close. Honestly if it wasn't for her, we might have lost the place. From start to close, and even after, Amy made us feel like we were her only clients (even though we know she has many .. including our friends). She was always available to us and to say she exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. Honestly, the best agent we have ever met and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an agent.

From the first conversation with Amy, she was open, honest, and very informative with what to expect with the selling of our home. Amy was always smiling and very upbeat and positive throughout the process and by the end of it, we felt like we had known her for years! As my husband had to leave the province ahead of me, I was worried that I'd be on my own and felt a little anxious about the process. Amy never once made me feel that way, and helped out in every way she possibly could. Amy was VERY quick to reply to our questions and even messaged to "check-in" and see how we were feeling. Amy is an awesome realtor. I am relocating from the island and that has some challenges I was not prepared for, but Amy was. Always fun to be around and knows her stuff, I am not a proud first time home owner!
